Measurement of cutting height

If you tend to measure the ideal cutting height of the grassy area, you might make use of the following gimmick: Take a thin piece of cardboard, put it on the top of the lawn and measure with the pocket rule. On that you can modulate the cutting height adjustment. As a thumb rule: The cutting height for utility lawn should be between 3 and 5 cm depending on weather and time of the year. In a great heat during the summer do not mow the lawn too short (ca. 5 cm) and water it on a regular basis. High 'holiday lawn' should be mowed in several stages.
